Connections Peer Support Recognized as a Recovery Friendly Workplace

Connections Peer Support is excited to announce that we are now a Recovery Friendly Workplace through the State of New Hampshire! The Recovery Friendly Workplace is an innovative led by NH Governor Chris Sununu that empowers employers working with folks who struggle with Substance Abuse Disorder.

Per their website, "Recovery Friendly Workplaces (RFWs) support their communities by recognizing recovery from substance use disorder as a strength and by being willing to work intentionally with people in recovery.  RFWs encourage a healthy and safe environment where employers, employees, and communities can collaborate to create positive change and eliminate barriers for those impacted by addiction."

Connections is very grateful and excited for this recognition from The State of New Hampshire! We have a thorough understanding of the intersection between mental health issues and Substance Abuse Disorder. The two very much connect and impact thousands of Granite-Staters. At Connections, we are here to support peers in recovery and empower them in their road to wellness.
